Over the past decade, we\u2019ve seen the London Cable Car running regular trips across the Thames from the Royal Docks near Canning Town in the North to the Greenwich Peninsula in the South. It is now firmly established as a familiar part of the London skyline. The attraction, run by Transport for London (TfL), is located close to many hotels, restaurants, and services on both sides of the Thames, and it\u2019s widely used for leisure and sightseeing trips as well as simply to help commuters travel to work.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today the Cable Car is entering a new era, with IFS taking over as sponsor as part of a deal which will also see the Cable Car terminals being renamed IFS Cloud Greenwich Peninsula and IFS Cloud Royal Docks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new partnership puts IFS on the map both figuratively and literally, raising visibility with the millions of people traveling in and around London annually. In addition to those who visit the many industry and community events at The O2 and ExCeL London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also share an appreciation of the history of the cable car and a vision of its future with its operator, TfL. As Josh Crompton, TfL\u2019s Head of the London Cable Car, says: \u201cOver the last decade, we have seen the London Cable Car attract tens of millions of visitors and secure its place as a must-visit UK attraction. Our partnership with the new sponsor, IFS, represents an exciting opportunity to reinvigorate the current cars and continue to build on the success of the most unique part of London\u2019s skyline.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From an IFS perspective also, showcasing our brand on this platform makes a lot of sense \u2013 our software is behind the construction through Doppelmayr<\/a> and running of the IFS Cloud Cable Car via Transport for London<\/a> \u2013 all of which makes for a truly authentic partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
