This survey measures your company’s ability to integrate Project Cost, Site Logistics, and Asset/Equipment Management. (Scoring for Response Options: 1 = Never/Manual, 5 = Fully/Integrated)
This section measures deviations between estimated budgets and actual expenditures, as well as profitability management for projects.
A1. Is it possible to automatically generate a detailed resource-based budget for estimated costs (Materials, Labor, Subcontractors) during the project proposal phase?
A2. Is real-time profit and loss monitored by comparing actual site expenditures (Materials/Labor) against the budget?
A3. Are subcontractor entitlements automatically determined and approved according to contract conditions, site progress, and QC validations?
A4. Is the procurement of materials and subcontractors for the project managed through a fully integrated purchasing process that aligns with the project timeline and budget constraints?
A5. Does the calculation of a project’s completion percentage take into account not just the costs incurred, but also physical progress and measured quantities?
This section measures the flow of materials on the construction site, inventory control, and the efficiency of on-site operations.
B1. Are all materials and equipment entering or leaving the site tracked in real-time against the relevant Project/Site Inventory?
B2. Are material request forms from the site automatically approved by comparing them with the central warehouse inventory and the project budget?
B3. When there is a delay in the project schedule, can the system simulate how this delay will affect the delivery dates of critical subcontractors and resources?
B4. Is personnel movement and working time on-site automatically recorded to the correct project/task via GPS or mobile devices?
B5. Are quality certificates and legal compliance documents for materials received from suppliers centrally stored in the Document Management System of the relevant project?
This section measures the efficiency, maintenance, and allocation of your high-value construction equipment (e.g., cranes, excavators).
C1. Is your equipment maintenance scheduling performed automatically based on actual operating hours (meter readings) rather than just time intervals?
C2. Are equipment breakdowns and downtimes (cranes, pumps, etc.) tracked based on their impact on specific jobsites and project costs?
C3. Are the rental or depreciation costs of each piece of equipment (leased or owned) accurately allocated to the specific projects and tasks where they are utilized?
C4. Can your service technicians view the stock status and location of spare parts needed for maintenance/repairs directly from their mobile devices?
C5. Does the system automatically track permit durations and provide alerts for all equipment requiring periodic inspections, certifications, and legal audits?
